Yan is the Founder and Executive DIrector of Bridges from Borders.

Yan was born in China, educated in China and US, worked in Asia, Europe, Africa and America with over 20 years experience in diverse consulting fields. Yan positions herself as an entrepreneur with a mindset of a global citizen. She dedicates herself to advocate for social justice, to promote culture diversity, and to develop youth leadership.

Yan holds a M.S in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Buffalo in 2020; a MBA degree from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2014 and a bachelor degree in International Economic Law in China. She has been a certificated Lawyer in China since 1998.
