Michael is a fine art photographer based in Buffalo, New York.  He holds a BFA in Fine Art Photography from SUNY University at Buffalo. He has won numerous national and international awards for commercial photography and video production. Cultural perception and preservation is a common theme in Michael’s work. He enjoys discovering ways that expressions of culture can be used as a unifying force rather than a dividing one.

“Community involvement is important to me. I enjoy giving back to the community that has supported me in so many ways through the years.” In this spirit, Michael developed an annual “Giving Back” program and to date has worked with a number of community organizations focused on humanitarian needs.

Michael has enjoyed developing visual elements for the #MY STORY project including creating imagery and exhibitions to support the projects’ goals and objectives. “I feel inspired and energized by the mission and work of Bridges from Borders. I believe the perception of mental health needs to continue to change locally as well as globally. Things seem to be getting better, but we still have a lot of work to do, and I feel fortunate to be a part of the process of positive change here in Western New York”
